Rokusho (緑青)
"Rokusho" is a traditional green-ish color that was brought to Japan from China along with Buddhism during the Asuka period (592-645). The origination of this color came from Malachite, a green or blue mineral used for making ornamental objects. Malachite was believed to be effective for healing the mind and body, and removing any sins. This design offers a broad view of the world of light and shadow through the application of the Malachite complexion.
