ベースとなる穏やかな黒を、縹（はなだ）と呼ばれる純粋な藍色（あいいろ）でぼかし上げ、柔らかなグラデーションに仕上げた。京の碗に描かれた柄をモチーフに、金糸銀糸の織で描かれた草花図が、光とともに表情を変化させ、落ち着いた中にしっかりとした存在感を醸し出す。
金箔銀箔を金糸銀糸で折り込んだ光沢感ある帯は、京都は宇治、平等院の模様をモチーフに仕上げた。

Pure indigo blue color or « Hanada » in Japanese is complemented by pale black shadings in this gorgious material. Gold and Silver yarns are used to create patterns of flowering plants which vary looks according to lightning condition.
The Obi or belt is designed with motifs from the famous temple in Byodoin in Kyoto.
