京都等持院の有楽椿は樹齢400年を超える大樹。その椿を大胆な構図で描き、ローケツ技法（ロウを布に乗せ、染料を染まらなくする）を用いて、黒一色で染め上げた。落ち着いた中にも華やかな印象を与える。
帯は唐紅（からくれない）。様々な濃さの「紅」の中でも、唐紅は深紅の色。様々な色との大胆な配色と細かな文様は、太古から今に伝わる文明のロマンを表現している。

Yuraku tsubaki is the image here , which comes from a 400 year-old camellia tree in Toji temple in Kyoto. Described as camellia flowers with a bold feeling, and dying the cloth with pure black using battik. Gives a profound impression of some elegant.
Obi : Karakurenai or deep red, which is combined with various colors ( blue, black, orange, etc ) to portray the dawn. Expresses the romance of civilization througth the ages from immemorial to modern time.
